The Hormel Foundation Austin Assurance Scholarship (THFAAS) Orientation Kickoff Event!

Riverland Library – East Building
8am-2:45pm – This event is mandatory for all new Austin Assurance Scholars. PLAN TO TAKE THE DAY OFF WORK.
Students may bring one parent/guardian. Parents who are unable to attend all day may choose to come for the general presentation which is planned around lunch time.
Agendas will be emailed to students no later than August 7th. Not every student will be required to attend all day, agendas are personalized to students needs.

Important Details regarding The Hormel Foundation Austin Assurance Scholarship (including but not limited to: expectations, how funds are applied, how credits and funds are tracked and documented, and exclusive opportunities).
Support Lab - wrap up missing items on your FAFSA, schedule changes, register for Learning Communities, etc.
Textbook Purchasing for Fall 2025 Semester (you’ll get your books for the semester)
Student Id’s
Optional: Campus Tour, BrightSpace Orientation, Tech Support (email, star alerts, starId issues, etc.)
Explore student organizations & student support services (TRIO, advocacy, accessibility, tutoring, clubs, sports, organizations)
FREE LUNCH will be catered for students and up to one guest
